Visiting the Barnabas Huntley House

From Virgil's Book 1, page 251: Barnabas served in the War of 1812. He was a fisherman and longshoreman, and was elected a tithingman on Oct. 1, 1819. The house belonged to Huntleys until the 1950s, and served as the Hamburg Post Office. (pictured below)

Virgil receives awards for his genealogical research

After 50 years of work travelling, researching, compiling, and publishing genealogy for the Huntley and other clans, 

Virgil is honored for his commitment and dedication!

Marilyn Guiliani, Representative of the 23rd District of the General Assembly of the State of Connecticut, 

awards Virgil with proclamations from the Jodi M. Rell, Governor, and the General Assembly.
